Probably the most well-known, though far from helping the cause, is Columbia’s lacklustre Cry of the Werewolf () scripted by the man who put the pap in papyrus, four-time Mummy sequel scribe Griffin ing of a sheep in wolf’s clothing, its only benefit to the mythology is making the protagonist female rather than male, yet the film never lives up to such glimmers of opportunity Author: Ian Champion.

Cycle Of The Werewolf is a fantastic Novelette, and my personal favorite werewolf story to read. Keep in mind though, this is indeed a novelette, so don't expect it to be a long read. If you've never read 'Cycle' but instead seen the film 'Silver Bullet', which is based on this novelette, you will find a lot of differences/5().

CRY OF THE WEREWOLF is about a legend, a family secret, and a curse. There are gypsies, a devil doll, and a Transylvanian connection. Is the gypsy princess Celeste (Nina Foch) more than she appears to be. Of course, there's a werewolf as well, w/ a bit of a twist.
